PLEASE GO VOTE!!!!!!! We are the incoming voting generation, and the generation that must take this country into the future. We have the most voters since the Baby Boomers, so our voice needs to be heard! The Democrats are fantastic at activating Generation X and Y, they know exactly what to say to pull our heartstrings. We need to counter that. Remember, do you want “Change” or do you want it “Better”?

Howdy!!
Have you paid your dues yet? If not, this is the perfect opportunity! We will be having our annual Membership Drive on April 30th at the Homefield Grill in Round Rock, TX. Homefield Grill is located right beside Flix Brewhouse, and owned by the same amazing people! So what is a Membership Drive? This is a time for our members to get together and prep for the upcoming Election Season. It is so easy for us to get into the dredge of our day to day activities, and not realize how fast the year is passing us by! But this year is almost halfway over!! Can you even believe it? In 6 months, we will be deciding the new President of our nation. Will it be “Change” or will it be better? You can decide, but you have to make your voice heard. So how do you start, how is the Primary going to affect our voices? We will be talking about that during our Membership Drive. Eric Opiela does redistricting for the Republican Party of Texas, and will be there speaking on the possible impact this late primary may have, and how to maximize our voices.
I hope to see you all there! And remember, if you are a political candidate who would like table space for your materials, the donation amount is $25. Only those candidates who donate will be able to put out materials. Those donations will go to the funding of our materials for the 2012 We Kill Zombies, CenTex YR campaign.

Chair

Straight from the Williamson County GOP Homepage! To learn more about the different committees, or to see the original post, please go to http://www.williamsoncountygop.org/:
2012 County Convention
This year’s County Convention will be held on
Saturday, April 14 at the Taylor Main Street Campus (Old High School) in Taylor. Registration and check-in will begin at 7:30am (tentatively), and the convention itself will be from 9am – 5pm. According to emergency rules recently passed by the State Republican Executive Committee, you must be a registered voter in the county as of April 14, and fill out
an Oath of Affiliation with the Republican Party in order to participate. Copies of the form can be downloaded, or picked up at our Georgetown headquarters or at any Williamson County Republican Party meeting or event.
Oath/Delegate form – To reduce the amount of paperwork that needs to be submitted, we have combined the oath of affiliation form with the application to be a delegate to the state convention. Everyone wishing to participate in the county convention and/or be a delegate to the state convention will need to complete the oath of affiliation (
top of page 1). If you would like to be part of our delegation to the state convention, you should also complete the application portion of the form (
bottom of page one and page 2). To reduce the chances of typing errors (or misreading handwriting), we would prefer you to fill out the online form, submit the data to us electronically, and then print, sign, and turn in the form. Completed forms can be mailed (PO Box 393, Round Rock, TX 78681), dropped off at our Georgetown headquarters, or turned into any officer at Republican events during March or early April. In order to achieve maximum consideration, please return the form by April 3rd, if possible.
We are pleased to announce that completed applications may now be FAXed to 512-590-8689!
Volunteers – A large number of volunteers will be needed to ensure the success of the 2012 County Convention. We will need help planning, setting up, operating, and cleaning up after the convention. There are a number of committees that will be seeking additional members as well. We will need pages (volunteers under 18 years old) as well. If you are interested in helping, please
send us an email with your interests and availability.
